Beaver Creek Golf Club

Beaver Creek Golf Club opened in 1991 in the western Des Moines suburbs at the Grimes/Johnston border. The original 18 holes, now the East and West nines, were designed by Jerry Reible and were reported as the first public facility in Iowa with bentgrass tees, greens and fairways. A third nine, the South, was added in 2000, giving the public facility 27 holes in three nine-hole combinations.
