About Downriver Golf Course

Downriver is the City of Spokane's oldest golf course, built in 1916 on the bluffs along the Spokane River beside what is now Riverside State Park. It's a classic tree-lined parkland layout, with tall ponderosa pines framing most fairways, and it's still owned and operated by the city. Over the past century it has hosted many local and regional tournaments, making it a cornerstone of public golf in the Inland Northwest.
