Edgewood Golf Course

Edgewood is Fargo's historic municipal course, laid out along the Red River valley in the northern part of the city and open to the public since the mid-1920s. City records place its opening around 1926, making it one of the oldest golf courses in North Dakota and a cornerstone of Fargo's public golf system. Its defining characteristic is its setting: Edgewood is the only course in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area lined with mature, towering trees, giving it a shaded, parkland feel distinct from the region's more open prairie layouts. The riverside location adds both beauty and challenge, as the Red River and its floodplain frame several holes. Long a favorite of local golfers, the par-71 layout has been a fixture of community golf for generations and continues to anchor the Fargo Parks lineup of public courses.
