Moccasin Creek Country Club

Moccasin Creek Country Club was founded in 1971 by a group of Aberdeen business leaders who wanted a first-rate golf and social club for northeastern South Dakota. The eighteen-hole course, credited to architect Charles Maddox, opened that same year and has grown into one of the most respected layouts in the state, stretching past 7,000 yards from the back tees at a par of 72. Beyond everyday member play, the club has long served as a regional competitive venue, hosting a well-regarded Dakotas Tour Pro-Am along with state amateur and junior championships and a full slate of leagues, tournaments and junior golf programming. As a private club, it anchors the Aberdeen golf community and remains a fixture of tournament golf in the Dakotas.
