About Oakwood Park Golf Course

Oakwood Park Golf Course is a public 18-hole course in Franklin, run by Milwaukee County Parks as part of its county golf system. It was founded in 1971 and is credited to golf architect E. Lawrence "Larry" Packard. At over 7,000 yards (par 72), it is described as the longest of the Milwaukee County Parks courses, with four sets of tees so golfers of any skill level can play it. Recent work added new bunkers and cart paths.
