Otter Creek Golf Course

Otter Creek was originally built in 1982 as a short, park-style municipal course designed by Donald Rippel and operated by the City of Ankeny. In 2007 developer DRA Properties bought roughly 192 acres north of the course and partnered with the city to transform it into an upscale, residential-lined design. The course and clubhouse underwent a complete renovation in 2008 (reopening in 2009), redesigned by Paul Miller & Associates of Minneapolis. It remains owned by the City of Ankeny and open to public play.
