Spring Lake Golf Course

Spring Lake is a 9-hole public course (par 33, about 1,873 yards) at 4020 Hoctor Boulevard in South Omaha's Spring Lake Park. Golfing Nebraska and Wikipedia both date the course to 1933, when a former dairy farm was converted to golf; GolfPass lists 1934. The park was once 'Syndicate Park,' a livestock-industry recreation area, and came under city control when Omaha annexed South Omaha in 1915. Designer credits conflict across sources, so none is stated.
