Tuhaye Golf Course (Talisker Club)

Tuhaye is the mountain course at Talisker Club, set in the hills above the Jordanelle Reservoir near Kamas and Heber City, Utah. Built in 2004, it marked one of Mark O'Meara's early ventures into course design, created with architect Britt Stenson as the golf centerpiece of a sprawling private community that also offers ski access at Deer Valley's Empire Pass. Perched around 7,000 feet, the eighteen holes stretch toward roughly 7,800 yards and wind across high sage-and-aspen benches with long looks toward the Uinta Mountains and the reservoir below. O'Meara, a Park City resident and founding member, calls the property among the best he has worked with. A signature moment is the short, cape-style par-four ninth, bending around a pond that has swallowed countless golf balls. The design earned a place on Golf Digest's Best New Courses list.
