About Crescent Hill Golf Course

Crescent Hill opened in 1926 as Louisville's second municipal golf course, its grand opening attended by dozens of city civic leaders. The scenic 9-hole layout is unusual, with no water hazards or bunkers and a mix of three par-3s, three par-4s and three par-5s over bermuda-grass fairways, making it one of the busiest and most beginner-friendly courses in Metro Louisville. The city celebrated 100 years of golf at Crescent Hill and Shawnee in 2026.
