About Edgebrook

Edgebrook's golf history predates the Forest Preserves: the Chicago Inter Ocean noted the forming of Edgebrook Country Club on March 13, 1910. The Forest Preserve District of Cook County has owned the course since 1919, moving it from private club to public golf. Today it is an 18-hole neighborhood course of about 4,567 yards, running along the Chicago River through mature trees in the Northern Forest Preserve.
