About Fred Arbanas Golf Course
A public 27-hole facility operated by Jackson County (Missouri) Parks + Rec on the east side of Longview Lake Park, adjacent to the historic Longview Farm. Formerly known as Longview, it comprises an 18-hole Scottish links-style championship course plus a 9-hole par-3 executive course, credited to architects J. Michael Poellot and Bradford Benz. It was renamed for Fred Arbanas, the former Kansas City Chiefs All-AFL tight end who played on the team that won Super Bowl IV.
