About Highland Falls Golf Course
Highland Falls was built in the early 1990s as part of Sun City Summerlin, Del Webb's retirement community on the west edge of Las Vegas (sources differ between 1992 and 1993 for its opening). Hall of Famer Billy Casper and course planner Greg Nash designed it along with its sister courses Palm Valley and Eagle Crest; together the three make up the Golf Summerlin group. It plays to par 72 with elevated desert views, is open to the public, and has twice won the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Best of Las Vegas award.
