About Ironwood Golf Course

Ironwood is the Town of Normal's municipal golf course, run by Normal Parks & Recreation on North Towanda Avenue. Roger Packard designed it, and it opened in 1990, routed through the Ironwood residential subdivision. The par-72 layout stretches to 7,071 yards from the Black tees (73.0/127). It has hosted high school regionals and sectionals, college invitationals, charity events, and CDGA and USGA qualifiers.
