About Ironwood Golf Course

Ironwood is an 18-hole public course on West Leggett Street on the southwest side of Wauseon, in the farm country of northwest Ohio. It opened in the early 1970s; listings give 1971, and one says 1970. The par-72 layout plays 6,965 yards from the Blue tees (72.7/115) across 155 acres between rolling farmland and the Ironwood Estates neighborhood. It has seven ponds, a covered bridge and many mature trees, plus a grass driving range and an indoor simulator for winter play.
