About Lake Padden Golf Course

After Bellingham's older downtown course on Lakeway Drive closed, regional architects Roy Goss and Glen Proctor carved Lake Padden Golf Course out of dense forest near Lake Padden. The first nine opened in July 1971 and the back nine in March 1972. It is owned by the City of Bellingham and run by a lease operator.
