Lewis River Golf Course opened in 1967 in Woodland, designed by Ralph Stading. It started as nine holes, and the full 18 opened around 1969. A 1996 flood destroyed six holes on the back nine, which were rebuilt, and three front-nine holes were rebuilt between 1996 and 2000. The clubhouse overlooks the Lewis River.
