About Peninsula Golf Club

Peninsula Golf Club in Port Angeles traces to 1923, when local businessmen led by mill manager Norman Gibbs formed the Port Angeles Golf and Country Club and bought farmland from the Dalton family, with room to grow to 18 holes. Frank James is credited with the layout, which dates to 1926, and Jack Reimer later reworked it. The club marked its centennial in July 2026.
