About Lincoln Park West Golf Course

Lincoln Park in Oklahoma City, a City of Oklahoma City municipal facility, opened in 1922 and is one of the state's earliest public courses. The Oklahoma Historical Society credits Scottish-born professional Arthur Jackson, whose construction work and model caddie program there earned him the title "the father of public golf in Oklahoma." The West course was later redesigned by Floyd Farley in 1965 and by Randy Heckenkemper in 1999, and it hosted the 1955 Oklahoma City Open (LPGA Tour).
