About Pine Bay Golf Course

Pine Bay is a public nine-hole, par-36 course at 6615 S. Grove in Wichita. Course directories report it opened in the mid-1980s (one source says 1985, another 1986) and credit Kevin Pargaman as architect. Its signature hole is the par-3 seventh, a roughly 150-yard shot to an island green, and water comes into play on several holes. No primary-source history was found, so the opening year and designer rest on directory listings only.
