About Riverview Municipal Golf Course
This city-owned course sits on the northwest side of Bowling Green, below Riverview at Hobson Grove. That Italianate mansion was begun in the late 1850s and used by Confederate troops in 1861 to store munitions. The course was long known as Riverview. The city redesigned it, and it reopened in October 2019 as Hobson Golf Course & Driving Range, with new Bermuda greens, rolling wooded terrain and a 22-stall range. It is one of Bowling Green's three municipal courses.
