About South Toledo Golf Club

South Toledo Golf Club was built between 1925 and 1927 as the south course of the private Heather Downs Country Club. It's credited to William J. Rockefeller, an Ohio architect of the era. It later broke off and became a public course, keeping its traditional, tree-lined design. Toledo's Arthur Hills renovated it in 1994, rebuilding three holes with new greens and adding seven tees. It remains one of the city's established public layouts.
