About Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links

Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links has been a public course since 1925, on the Portage Lakes south of Akron. It grew into a 27-hole facility. The 18-hole course, made of the Long 9 and Middle 9, sits in the city of Green, and the Water 9 lies to the west in New Franklin. The course was renovated in the early 2000s. Around its 98th year, a local businessman bought the property, planning to keep the 18 holes and develop the Water 9.
