Turtle Creek, just outside Greenville in Darke County, began in 1921 as the Greenville Country Club, which makes it one of the oldest courses in the area. Now a public 18-hole course, it winds through woods with a stream in play on several holes. The clubhouse lounge is named the Thirsty Turtle.
