White Horse Golf Club near Kingston opened on June 15, 2007, to strong national reviews after developer Bob Screen broke ground in 2003. When home lots failed to sell in the housing downturn, the course went into foreclosure and passed through bank ownership. The Suquamish Tribe's Port Madison Enterprises then bought it, removed nearly half of its 137 bunkers to make it more playable, and opened a new clubhouse in 2013. It hosted the LPGA Legends Tour's Suquamish Clearwater Legends Cup in 2017, and GolfPass ranked it the 25th-best public course in the U.S. in 2024.
