Willow Run Golf Course

Willow Run is a public course set in the rolling countryside just east of downtown Sioux Falls, originally designed by Minnesota-based architect and former touring pro Joel Goldstrand and opened in 1986. The layout rambles across gently rolling terrain at a walkable par 70 of roughly 6,500 to 6,660 yards, long enough to be interesting without overwhelming the everyday golfer, and it built a reputation for well-conditioned turf and challenging green complexes. In 2015 the course underwent a significant renovation by CE Golf Design that modernized bunkering and green surrounds while respecting the original character. Now operated as part of the GreatLIFE Golf network, Willow Run remains one of the area's most popular and accessible daily-fee options, drawing steady local play and earning solid national marks for value and conditioning.
