About Auburn Hills Golf Course

Auburn Hills is the newest of Wichita's city-owned courses, designed by Perry Dye and built within a residential development. The Wichita City Council approved the project in December 1996, construction began in fall 1998, and the course was finished in fall 2000. The clubhouse was completed in early 2001, and the course opened for play on May 24, 2001. It is a municipal course operated by the City of Wichita and hosts major tournaments each year.
