About Brown Deer Park Golf Course
Opened in 1929 as part of the Milwaukee County Park System, Brown Deer Park was designed by county course architect George Hansen and later revised by Andy North and Roger Packard. The public course hosted the PGA Tour's Greater Milwaukee Open (later the U.S. Bank Championship) from 1994 to 2009, drawing players such as Greg Norman and Lee Trevino. Its most famous moment came in 1996, when Tiger Woods made his professional debut here, recording a hole-in-one on the 14th and finishing tied for 60th.
