About Whitnall Park Golf Course

Whitnall Park Golf Course, a Milwaukee County Parks public layout in Franklin, was founded in 1932 and designed by county course architect George Hansen. It sits within Whitnall Park, at 640 acres the county's largest park, named for Charles B. Whitnall, the architect of Milwaukee County's public park system and secretary of its Park Commission from 1907 until 1941.
