About Lincoln Park Golf Course

Lincoln Park Golf Course, a public Milwaukee County Parks course on the Milwaukee River, opened in 1916 as a six-hole layout. It was expanded to nine holes in 1922 under a design credited to Tom Bendelow, and redesigned again in the early 1960s, credited to George Hansen. The par-33 nine-hole course sits in a 312-acre park and has been renovated with new bunkers. County golf staff call it the most demographically diverse course in the system.
