Founded in 1911, The Country Club of Orlando is one of Florida's oldest country clubs, originally nine holes laid out by Tom Bendelow and expanded to eighteen around 1918. A longstanding Donald Ross attribution is disputed — Ross may have submitted a routing, while period evidence suggests Bendelow re-planned the layout. The course was most recently restored by Forse Design in late 2017.
