College Fields

College Fields, on Hagadorn Road in Okemos just south of Michigan State's campus, opened 11 holes in fall 2005 and the full 18 in 2006. Architect David Savic, later of Nicklaus Design, shaped it in a golden-age style: an open, links-like front nine and a wooded back nine. The public course has since hosted events for the USGA, the Golf Association of Michigan, the Greater Lansing Area Golf Association and the Michigan Women's Golf Association.
