About Dakota Landing Golf Course

Dakota Landing is a family-built, public nine-hole course in Franklin Township on Indianapolis's southeast side at 6636 S. Franklin Road. It opened in 1998, designed by Jim Baumberger with Steve Rentz, and plays to a par of 35 at roughly 2,700–2,800 yards with a practice range. Golfers describe it as a quick, approachable layout that suits beginners, the kind of small independent nine that keeps the game within reach on the edge of the city.
