About El Diablo & El Santiago Golf Course (The Villages)
El Diablo ("the devil") and El Santiago ("the saint") are sister 9-hole executive courses in the Village of Santiago, both by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton. El Diablo opened in 1997 as one of the trail's more demanding tracks, with carries to elevated greens and several water holes (par 27); El Santiago followed in 1998 as a gentler, beginner-friendly layout (par 27). Both are free resident executive courses.
