Highlands Golf Course opened in 1990 on wooded, rolling terrain in Bella Vista, built to a design by the firm Ault, Clark & Associates, with Bill Love also credited among its architects. It is an 18-hole, par-72 layout operated by the Bella Vista Property Owners Association and plays to roughly 6,900 to 7,000 yards from the back tees. It serves as the home course for the Bentonville and Gravette high school golf teams.
