About Hurstbourne Country Club
Hurstbourne Country Club is a private, member-owned club in Louisville, Kentucky, founded in 1966 on land layered with early frontier history. The site traces back to William Lynn's 1779 Lynn's Station, and the clubhouse's oldest section dates to roughly 1818, tied to the estate of Revolutionary War veteran Col. Richard Clough Anderson. Chic Adams laid out the golf holes in 1967, and architect Keith Foster substantially redesigned the Championship Course in 2004. That course stretches just over 7,000 yards with zoysia fairways and bentgrass greens, and hosts more than 20,000 rounds a year. With its 18-hole Championship layout plus a 9-hole Executive Course, Hurstbourne bills itself as the only club within Louisville proper offering 27 holes of golf.
