About Key Royale Club

Key Royale Club is a private par-32, nine-hole course in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island, created to anchor developer Peder Mickelsen's housing development on the former "School Key." The club was organized on April 2, 1965 with 96 founding members; the course, designed by Jim Cochran, opened for play on September 24, 1966. It remains a historic island club on the north end of Anna Maria Island.
