La Gorce Country Club is a historic private club in Miami Beach that opened in 1927, with the course originally laid out by English amateur Captain Herbert C.C. Tippet, an associate of Miami Beach developer Carl G. Fisher. The par-71 layout was later redesigned by Robert Trent Jones (1969) and again by Jack Nicklaus (1995). It remains one of South Florida's most prestigious private golf and social clubs.
