About Lakeview Golf Club

Lakeview Golf Club in Delray Beach was built by local contractor John Walker, who bought the roughly 125-acre tract in 1971 and opened the course in fall 1972 as an executive layout for the area's retirement community. By the club's history, Walker designed it himself; GolfPass lists Bill Dietsch. The City of Delray Beach acquired it in 1996, pairing it with Delray Beach Golf Club. It is a par-60, 3,006-yard course with fourteen par 3s.
