Lemon Bay Golf Club in Englewood was originally designed by Jim Petrides (dated around 1980-82 by directories). The club's own history says it was established in 1989 after a bankrupt, partially completed course was taken over and upgraded, with founder J. Kimpton Honey credited. Drew Rogers prepared a master plan in 2021 and led a major 2023 renovation that kept the routing, after which the course reopened in November 2023.
