About Lincoln Park G. C.
Opened in 1922, Lincoln Park is one of the oldest public golf courses in Oklahoma and is operated by the City of Oklahoma City. It was designed by Arthur "Art" Jackson, who earned the title "father of public golf in Oklahoma" for his course-building work and model caddie program; Jackson also served as founding head professional from 1922 to 1952. The facility grew into two 18-hole layouts, and in 1961 architect Floyd Farley reworked the course and relocated the clubhouse, a reopening celebrated with an appearance by Arnold Palmer. A new 32,000-square-foot clubhouse opened in 2015.
