About Mccabe Gc

Construction of McCabe began in 1939 as a federal Works Progress Administration project under Parks Commissioner Edwin Warner, and the original eighteen holes opened to the public in 1942. It was named for former parks commissioner Charles McCabe. A third nine was added several years later, making it a 27-hole Metro Parks municipal facility that remains one of Nashville's busiest and most respected public courses.
