About McMillen Park Golf Course

McMillen Park dates to 1937, but its city-run golf course was not built until 1962 and opened in 1963 as a par-58 layout, the first executive course in the Fort Wayne area; it now plays to par 65. Since 1965 it has hosted the "Little City" golf tournament. Remarkably, the course has had only four head professionals: Bill Berg, who oversaw construction, Bill Miller, who expanded it from 1969, Bob Placido and Rick Hemsoth.
