About Miami Lakes Golf Club

Opened in 1962 as the Miami Lakes Inn & Golf Club, part of the Graham family's Miami Lakes development, with Bill Watts credited as architect. It was renamed Shula's Hotel & Golf Club in 1992 for Don Shula, then back to Miami Lakes Golf Club in January 2022. A $12 million-plus Bruce Hepner redesign broke ground in 2024 and reopened the course on November 1, 2025. It offers memberships but remains open to the public.
