Mira Mesa opened to residents in 1993 as the fourth executive golf course in The Villages. The 9-hole, par-29 layout was totally renovated in 2011 and again in early 2023. It winds through stands of oak and southern pine with notable elevation changes; its signature ninth is a par 3 from an elevated tee over water to a narrow, well-guarded green.
