Painted Mountain Golf Course

Painted Mountain is a public 18-hole, par-70 course in Mesa attached to the Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort. Most sources credit Frank Boxberger as the architect and date its opening to about 1969, though GolfLink lists 1967, so the exact year is unsettled. One resort-affiliated page attributes the design to Jay Morrish, which conflicts with the majority of sources.
