About Arizona Biltmore Estates Course

The Estates Course sits on the site of the Arizona Biltmore's original Adobe Course, laid out by William P. "Billy" Bell and opened in 1928, months before the landmark Arizona Biltmore hotel. Bell, who had worked with George C. Thomas in California, gave it his signature free-form "Bell bunkers." Forrest Richardson later rerouted and restored parts of the layout. In 2023 owners JDM Partners had PGA Tour winner Tom Lehman redesign all 18 holes within the old corridors, reopening it in November 2023 as the Estates Course, named for the surrounding Biltmore neighborhood.
