Palo Verde Golf Course (Phoenix)

Palo Verde is a 9-hole, par-30 executive course in central Phoenix, operated as a City of Phoenix municipal facility. Its origins trace to 1960, when Jim Jemsek came to Phoenix from Chicago and found a farm at 15th Avenue and Maryland belonging to the Rae family; the nine-hole course was built around the farmhouse, silo and pond and opened for play in 1961. The layout has three par-4s and six par-3s and is known for low green fees in the Phoenix metro.
