About Pleasant Run Golf Course

Pleasant Run Golf Course is an Indianapolis municipal course on the city's east side, laid out along the Pleasant Run creek corridor. The Encyclopedia of Indianapolis dates it to 1921, among the four municipal courses the city built over roughly three decades in the early 20th century (sources vary on the exact opening year). It is an 18-hole parkland layout with mature trees, operated by Indy Parks and Recreation.
