The golf course at Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo near Lake Wales is a 9-hole layout (played as 18, par 72) that GolfPass dates to 2005. The surrounding River Ranch resort was originally developed in the 1960s by Gulf American Corp.; Westgate Resorts acquired the property in 2001 and reopened it in 2002 as a dude-ranch-style resort. (A "Joe Lee" design credit appears in some listings but is doubtful given Lee's 2003 death, so the architect is left unconfirmed.) The course is open to the public and resort guests.
