Rolling Hills Golf Course (Tempe)

Rolling Hills is a city-owned Tempe course set among the Papago Park buttes. Its front nine was built in 1960 by Milton Coggins and company, and Arizona architect Gary Panks designed the back nine in 1987, when a new clubhouse was also built. In March 2023 the City of Tempe agreed to a 30-year partnership with Grass Clippings to renovate the roughly 93-acre course, relaunching it as Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills and billing it as Arizona's first fully lit 18-hole course.
